HOW THE PRICE WORKS
Whatever the number says when your card clears is what you pay. It will be lower later. That is not a bug and it is not grounds for a refund.
Clicking buy freezes the price for five minutes and tells everyone. Two abandoned locks per person per day and you're rate-limited out. Don't freeze the auction for sport.

Nothing is reviewed by a human before it publishes. Automated checks only: profanity, image safety, URL blocklist. That's what makes same-day possible.
There is a kill switch. If your takeover breaks a rule it comes down and you get every cent back, no argument and no second slot.
